The location is great for nightlife, and the room itself is a decent size. The shared bathroom is very close by. But the hostel is on the third floor of a residential building with no elevator, and the place is old, dirty, and dark.

The host was very friendly and tried hard to make us feel welcome. There were kitchen utensils, a washing machine, a shared bathroom, and two balconies. Still, the cost didn’t feel justified. The bathroom was very clean but poorly maintained, the beds were old enough that I could feel the springs, and the hostel and building both need upkeep. It’s above a pub, so getting a good night’s rest is really difficult.

We arrived to a dirty place, with an unclean bathroom and gloomy walls, and the inside needs a lot of work. The numbering was hidden, too. They overcharged me, there was no air conditioning, and the only fan didn’t work. A fresh coat of paint would help, but this was a horrible place.

The bathrooms and showers were deplorably dirty. The address wasn’t the one advertised, the person who helped us was drunk, and guests booking through Booking.com are charged more. Terrible from the start.
