I’ve never seen a hostel this clean. I had the best time there, and it really felt like home. The location was great too, just a few minutes on foot from the river and the city center, with a really nice gym across the street.

The owner was really nice and gave us some great suggestions for the coastline and national parks. There was driveway parking, too. Our double room was comfortable and had its own bathroom and a TV. The hostel is clean and cozy, with a great shared kitchen and living and dining area. It’s owner-occupied and just a short walk from the riverbank and tourist area.

It has a quaint, family-run feel and is close to downtown and Costanera (Riverwalk). The distances were handy: three blocks to Dreams Casino, six to the downtown central plaza, and five to the feria fluvial, the local market for fresh fish, vegetables, and fruit.

Mrs. Blanca was so attentive and kind, and the place was lovely and clean. The animals there are very sweet and affectionate. It’s easy to get to, right in the center, and there’s private parking. A great base for exploring Valdivia.
