They had everything I needed, including a washing machine, kitchen, drinking water, and heaters. Breakfast was excellent, too. The staff were so friendly that they even offered me a better room when I arrived, with views of the city and sea. The hostel looks like a little castle, and you can climb up to the platform on top for a great view. What an experience, highly recommended!

I've been to Hostal del Viajero several times, and the service has been excellent every time. The rooms are comfortable, with private bathrooms, whether you're there for a few days or a longer stay. Its location is a big plus: tourist sights are nearby, the funiculars up Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre are just a couple of blocks away, and the National Maritime Museum and Paseo 21 de Mayo are only steps away. Secure parking is available too. Highly recommended.
