B&B La Casa de Henao

The big kitchen at La Casa de Henao is fully equipped for making lunch or dinner, and everyone staying at the B&B can use it. The Henaos also rent a couple of apartments nearby, about 30 meters from the bed and breakfast, in a separate building. Each has two bedrooms, a living room, modern furniture, a kitchen, a visitors' bathroom and a main bathroom, plus access to a rooftop terrace. They're clean and protected by a secure gate. The B&B itself is run by a couple and is close to most of Valparaiso's worthwhile tourist sights, if those are what you're after. Rooms are finished to an amazing standard, with modern bathrooms. The matrimonial rooms connect to a possible kids' bedroom for families, though that room can also be used separately by adults. Breakfast is great every morning, served in a beautiful inner garden. Jose G. Henao is a legend in his own right, a retired US Marine with 30 years in the US Marine Core. He's lived in Chile for a long time and knows Valparaiso well, so ask him for restaurant tips and places worth visiting. Jose and his wife, Karen, really take care of your needs, and it won't cost you loads of money. La Casa de Henao is an amazing gem up in the hills of Valparaiso. Greatly recommended!

The hosts were so thoughtful, warm, and friendly, some of the best I've met. It's a snug, family-friendly place, and just right for families. Honestly, 200,000 stars. The best in Valpo, and I'd recommend it. Go!

You can catch public transport right outside, and the location is excellent. The place was spotless, breakfast was very good, and everything felt top-notch, with a lovely family atmosphere. Congratulations to the Henao family!
