The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were really pleasant. It's a wonderful old house that's been turned into a hotel, high up in town, just up the street from the Piano Staircase and Youth Hostel. The rooms and rooftop patio have great views.

The rooftop is awesome, with an even better panoramic view over the city. My room was beautiful, with a huge window facing the harbor.

Best hotel in Valparaiso.

The location is excellent, everything is easy to get to, and the rooftop terrace has a breathtaking view over the sea and whole city. The rooms were tidy, and breakfast was enough to get the day started. The housekeeper welcomed us warmly, though she didn't speak any English. Google helped us communicate about the basics. The bathroom was a letdown: the shower gave us 30 seconds of hot water, then two minutes of cold. It had only been superficially cleaned, the toilet bucket had no liner for used paper, and the room smelled quite musty.

We loved staying there. The apartment was really clean and organized, and breakfast was served in the room and was always very good. They also have a terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and mountains.
