The staff were attentive and friendly, and the terrace has a terrific view. The hotel is outside Valparaiso’s main tourist district, though the striking brick building is nice. The reception has been tastefully renovated, but it still falls short of what I'd expect from a so-called boutique hotel. The rooms don't meet the expected standards for comfort. Breakfast buffet was poor. If you have a car, there's free parking, and the main roads are easy to reach.

There’s a lovely terrace with a great city view, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Asencion area, with its popular bars and restaurants. They also have their own parking if you've rented a car.

The breakfasts were good, and the staff were very helpful. The hotel has a really interesting design, too. A nice place to stay while visiting Valparaiso. If you're arriving by car, ask about parking. Get a city map from reception and ask them for the best route to the main area.

The location is wonderful and the people are nice. It has an old-fashioned feel, but that's part of the charm. I love the place, it's a great spot.

Traffic noise at night was a downside. On the plus side, parking is free, the terrace has eye-popping views of the bay, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
