I’ll remember that marmalade cooking away in the kitchen. Breakfast was incredible, especially the eggs, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Ricardo and Jordan made us feel right at home, and there’s a lovely garden with secure parking plus a kitchen where you can make a meal or just have tea.

The mountain views from the garden are lovely, and the place has such a nice, peaceful feel. We stayed a few days to unwind, and the bed was comfortable with electric blankets. Just what you need when it’s chilly out.

The homemade jams from Mr. Richard were excellent, definitely worth trying. We spent two nights at Hostel El Calibri and really liked its laid-back feel. Mr. Richard and his family were welcoming hosts and gave us lots of helpful advice. They speak several languages, so it was easy to communicate. A great place to stay in Vicuña, highly recommend it.

The dorms and whole setting were really relaxing, and breakfast was magnificent. I got there very early, but the owner Richard welcomed me and made me comfortable straight away. Such a lovely vibe at this hostel.

The owners were kind and really helpful, including with arranging tours and other parts of a stay in Valle de Elqui. The rooms are sunny and comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped and available whenever you need it. Breakfast was delicious, and don’t miss trying the homemade marmalades.
