Hostal Marina

The owner was welcoming and very friendly, and the location was good for a reasonable price. Everything was really clean. The rooms had private bathrooms and TVs, and some even had mini-fridges. Our only issue was that there weren't enough outlets to charge our phones and camera batteries. Otherwise, everything was perfect. :)

We got there so late that, with the kids, we stayed rather than wander around looking for somewhere else. The sheets at least seemed clean and smelled nice, but the mattress was awful and badly sagged. The bathroom was the worst part; we'd have preferred not to shower than go in there. Thankfully it was just one night. At 35,000 pesos, it wasn't worth the cost. We paid that price because we hadn't booked earlier.

I stayed 2 nights and 3 days, and they never replaced the towels or toilet paper. The owners are friendly, but that doesn't excuse missing those details. There's a shared kitchen and cable TV. The location is quite good, though the price is a bit high.

It's a decent dorm room otherwise, and there's a shared kitchen. The private bathroom has the shower in the same space as the toilet and sink, so you have to use a toilet brush to push the water away and keep it from splashing outside. Privacy isn't great either, since you can clearly hear everything from outside.
