Hotel Magic

I booked a week ahead and got confirmation, but when I arrived, my room hadn’t been reserved. The person trying to help was extremely unhelpful. The only real option was a refund, which left me without a place to stay. Dreadful experience. I don’t recommend it.

For the price, it’s not bad. But the cleaning staff were making noise, shouting, and running around at about 8 am. If checkout is at 12, they should expect guests to sleep later on their last day.

Terrible experience. They didn’t honor my reservation, and it was expensive with bad service. There was no breakfast and I didn’t get a receipt. The cleaning staff were shouting at 8 in the morning, showing zero respect for people’s rest.

The hotel has a lovely design, beautiful decor, and a good location. It’s well maintained, too. The best parts for us were the cleanliness and the friendly receptionists and breakfast staff. The breakfast staff were EXCELLENT, though dinner was very poor and the dinner staff were quite unfriendly. We went with a travel agency, and the hotel doesn’t provide breakfast or half-board itself. Breakfast was outsourced. There’s no mini-fridge, so one guest had to take their insulin to the lobby. Our room also had no phone, and some elderly ladies got locked in without a way to call for help. We had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs between the first and second floors ourselves. The bathroom was very small, with nowhere to put toiletries. They could improve things.
