For a moderate price, you get a decent room in a quiet part of the city center. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, bar, pool, and gym, along with around five conference rooms for events. Airport pickup and drop-off are available, and you can pay by cash or credit card.

SOMATEL HOEL is a small, pleasant place in Douala with low prices and well-designed rooms with effective systems. Its reception hall can host seminars, wedding ceremonies, and birthday parties. It's located at 2MRV+P2G, Rue Akwa-Bali, DOUALA.

The swimming pool is a highlight for me, especially the coach who's always on-site. He's a great coach for adults who want to learn how to swim. Somatel also has moderate prices and good service quality.

We have details, names, and evidence. We wound up at this hotel after calling the number on a confirmed booking.com reservation for a different hotel. People at the airport had our name and took us somewhere we thought was our hotel, then gave us a false story about covid at the other place. These crooks seem well organised. The room was okay-ish, but more expensive and lower standard than the one we'd actually booked. Fraud alert.

A locally owned budget hotel in a fairly quiet part of the city center, with affordable rooms and services ranging from laundry to room service. It has a pool, gym, and several conference rooms. If you're looking for a moderately priced, comfortable place to stay in Douala, visit SOMATEL Hotel.
