It's super convenient for getting around, with the metro, bus, and railway all just a short hop away. I hope management can add a few more English-speaking staff. The city view from the bar and breakfast terrace on the 26th floor is great!!!

The price felt very fair. A comparable place back home in Canada would cost a lot more. The rooms and facilities were clean, modern, comfortable, and well equipped, and the staff were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke English and Mandarin.
8/10
The location is handy and the staff are helpful. Everything else was fine, but in autumn the air conditioning couldn't be used to adjust the room temperature, so I had to open the window. The minibar fridge being switched off by default seemed silly.

Being downtown was great for getting to the many shops and restaurants. The hotel had the basic amenities, but I gave it three stars because the gym was open while still unfinished. Unopened boxes among the equipment made it feel unsafe.

Everything you need is there, and you can walk to West Lake. The subway is right nearby too. My only real issue was the Wi-Fi, which kept dropping out and reconnecting.
