Delta Lounge

The area had fresh, tasty food and drinks, and the stay at David Lounge was such a nice experience. It felt relaxing, clean, cozy, and stylish without being too formal. The staff, especially the pretty korean staff, were friendly and always ready to help. I’d happily come back soon and enjoy some more quiet time here.

My mother and I stayed here for our 8-day DIY tour in Hong Kong. It was a good base, close to public MRT, fast food and stores, with plenty of money exchangers downstairs. The room was small, but reasonable for the cheap price. Lots of tourist spots are within walking distance, including TST Promenade, Cultural Center and Star Ferry Pier. Highly recommended.

We had to tuck our bags under the bed just to make enough room to walk, the room was that tiny. The online photos were misleading, and this was one of the worst stays we’ve had while travelling. The bed was very hard, the blanket too small for two, the sheets had hair, and the pillows smelled awful. Honestly disgusting. The refrigerator and TV didn’t work, and the air conditioning took ages to cool. For hot water, you have to switch on a separate heater 10 minutes ahead, which was a pain on early mornings. The elevator did work, but the wait was long because it only holds a few people at a time. We also felt uneasy coming back to the building, where groups of men were often standing near the entrance. The stay was uncomfortable, unhygienic, and misleading for the price. I’d strongly suggest finding somewhere else in Tsim Sha Tsui if you want a decent and safe stay in Hong Kong.

The owner was friendly, and reception was nice enough to let us check out late. They also offered somewhere to leave our luggage since our flight was late in the evening. There are cheap food places close by. The elevator is a bit tricky because it’s small and only fits 4-5 people at a time. OK.
