Lodgewood by Nina Hospitality丨Mong Kok

A couple of small things interrupted an otherwise comfortable stay: the Wi-Fi needed reconnecting whenever I came back to the room, and I sometimes heard guests shutting doors late at night. The location was very convenient, and the staff were polite and helpful. I also appreciated the generous toiletries and having a microwave, plates, and utensils in the room. I’d stay here again next time.

For the price, this is a good hotel, and the room was comfortable. Two MTR stations are only about five minutes away. There isn’t much for restaurants right nearby, and the TV doesn’t have anything to watch, so bring a fire stick.

There’s plenty of food and shopping around the hotel, and both Ladies market and sneakers street are walkable. Mong Kok MTR is just a few minutes away on foot, too. I spent four nights in a Premier room, which was clean and roomy enough. Thanks to the reception staff for being courteous and helpful.

We had a family room with two single beds and a sofa bed, and it was quite spacious by Hong Kong standards. It was clean, with nice thick towels, and the neighborhood was quiet while still close to Mong Kok MTR, restaurants, a traditional market, and Langham Place. The amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body soap, a hairdryer, kettle, fridge, and, as a pleasant surprise, a microwave. The AC was cold, adjustable, and positioned so it didn’t blow on our heads. We hope to come back.
