We’re having a good stay so far, and the service apartment is nice enough without any big problems. The gym is quite small, and the laundry setup isn’t great. There are other places in North Point for both, so just Google around.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the place worked well for my two-month stay on Hong Kong Island. It’s only a few minutes on foot to the MTR. The serviced apartment feels like home, with its own kitchen and bathroom, plus a washing machine and gas stove, which you don’t often see.

The apartments are small, and there are ongoing drainage problems that make them uncomfortable. The back alleys send up a bad smell and cooking oil odor, so opening the windows isn’t really possible. The ventilation is poor, and with the surrounding buildings so close, I couldn’t open the curtains and have privacy. The staff were unfriendly and arrogant, and didn’t seem focused on providing good service. Their service seemed to get worse the longer I stayed. Their manner reminded me of waiters at a typical HK-style restaurant. Definitely not a satisfactory experience.

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the amenities were good, including a real gas stove and shared laundry. The gym is tiny. We were on the second floor, facing the back alley and restaurant kitchens, so there was noise and cooking oil in the air much of the time. Some mornings we woke with a headache from it.
