The rooms were old, dirty, smelly, and poorly kept, and the front desk staff were extremely rude. They only gave disposable towels. With a lot of luggage, you have to carry it up a narrow staircase to the first floor. There are plenty of other hotels on Nathan Road where you can get better service for just 10 or 20 HKD more.

The bed is small, so sharing it would be uncomfortable, and I wouldn't stay longer than a few days. It seems better suited to couples or people traveling alone. They sometimes forget things like towels, water heaters, or charging ports, but you can ask for them. Bring a charger head that works with three prongs, not the usual two metal ones.

The location was handy, just two minutes from the MTR, with traditional food stalls and modern malls nearby. Check-in itself was smooth, but I had to climb a narrow flight of stairs with my luggage to reach reception, and they required a HKD500 deposit. Smaller bags would be much easier here. I stayed four nights. My first room looked dusty and unclean, including the black chairs, and there were no proper towels, only disposable ones. One night I found two large bed bugs on the bed. I photographed them and asked reception to move me. The staff member seemed like an intern and called a supervisor, then told me rooms would only open up the next day after checkout. By morning the bugs had disappeared. When we lifted the beds, there was a lot of garbage underneath, though we couldn't tell where the bugs had come from. I asked for bug spray, fresh sheets and covers, and a cleaning. The intern reluctantly tried to help, but walked around in dirty shoes until I told him to change into room slippers. He didn't know how to use the spray, so I took it and did it myself. The whole thing was stressful and frustrating. The next day I left my luggage at reception and was told it would be moved to my new room that afternoon. When I returned at 5:30, they said the room wasn't ready and housekeeping needed ten minutes. Other guests who arrived later checked in before me. After nearly 40 minutes, I was told the room was ready, but it was on a different floor from the one they'd first mentioned. I wouldn't have minded paying more if this was an upgrade, but the service made it feel like nobody cared about the guest experience. The new room still had dirty floors and dusty furniture. The bathroom walls and tiles looked newly renovated, but the ceiling wasn't. There was a hole about the size of a ping-pong ball. Since it was on the top floor, I wasn't too worried about someone peeking in, but the opening could let in bugs or rats. The rooms and toilets are poorly designed, and the place is old and not clean. For this level of service and quality, the price feels high. You might as well spend a little more on the five-star hotel opposite.

The room wasn't properly cleaned when I checked in. The air conditioner was old and very loud, and the room wouldn't get dark enough at night. Also, be careful with the HKD1,000 deposit. If you pay by credit card, the refund may take over a month and can be difficult to claim back. If you don't follow up, you might lose the deposit altogether.

It's an okay budget option for a short stay of 2-3 days, especially if you like shopping in markets. The area is convenient, though busy and noisy, and the floor was always wet in the mornings. Staff weren't very friendly or helpful.
