Comfort Guest House

The room and bathroom were both cramped, with the toilet and shower sharing such a tiny space that everything gets wet when you shower. Getting to the guest house was a hassle too: the building is hard to locate, the entrance is through a pedestrian walkway that felt uncomfortable, and the elevator was slow and usually packed, especially inconvenient with luggage. Agoda’s photos gave me a very different impression from the reality. I found the stay disappointing and wouldn’t recommend it, even for a short visit. Hong Kong has better options at a similar price.

The staff were kind, the room was very clean, and I had hot water for showers. There’s plenty nearby, and among hotels in the same price range, this was easily the best. I’d definitely recommend it.

Breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious, and the location was close to major attractions while still being quiet enough at night. The room was spacious, spotless, nicely laid out, and had comfortable bedding and everything I needed. Staff were welcoming from check-in through checkout, always smiling and ready to help with recommendations. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back on my next trip.

The place felt dirty and disgusting, and I’m worried about bedbug bites. The outside of the hotel looked like something from a horror movie. It’s cheap, but I wouldn’t risk staying here. There are five blocks, I think, and each seems to have different hotel rooms listed on Agoda. You have to queue for one of the two elevators in each block, and the lines get long because the lifts are slow and crowded.
