Waking up to that city view was a highlight, and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel is right by the mall, with a sheltered route to the train station, which made getting around easy. There are beautiful art pieces all over the place, so it feels a bit like staying in a gallery. I loved how spacious our room was, and the bathroom was incredible. I could've spent an hour in there. The service, room, view and whole experience were amazing.

We stayed at Rosewood for four nights in late April 2026. The Kowloon location was ideal, within a short walk of the harbour, museums, large shopping centres, and even a Catholic mass. The building looks like an architectural icon from Hong Kong Island. Staff were first class and friendly, though we had a small language barrier once. The restaurants were very good, and the patisserie shop's cakes may be the best I've had. A special thank you to Louisa from Management. Our first room had a smell my wife couldn't tolerate and very loud air conditioning, even though it was stunning, beautifully appointed and had a great view. We contacted the Rosewood Team, and Louisa quickly moved us to a much bigger, better corner suite. It was a busy weekend and all rooms of the same type were booked, so we appreciated the upgrade. The suite was gorgeous, with spectacular views, refined details, great accessories and storage, electric blinds, and carpeting throughout.

The view over Hong Kong was spectacular, and service was generally fine, but our stay didn't feel like the best hotel experience we'd had. We picked it because it had been named the world's best hotel in 2025, so we expected more. On arrival at night, our child's bed wasn't ready and we had to wait again. Breakfast was disappointing, with little choice or refinement, and the food wasn't particularly tasty. During the night, a drunk man in the next room shouted, and it seemed there was violence against his wife. She ran out crying and screaming. I asked if she needed help and called reception straight away. Staff responded quickly, but once they left, the guests kept arguing loudly. It was disturbing and frightening. The hotel's scale and mass-market feel also seemed to have taken away some of its soul and personal touch. The view is impressive, but the experience didn't feel like one from the world's best hotel.

We spent six nights in a Peak View Suite with our one-year-old son, and the team made family travel feel easy and special. From the moment we arrived, staff anticipated what we needed with warmth, patience, and thoughtful attention. Everyone at Manor Club made us feel welcome each day, and the atmosphere, hospitality, service, and food there were outstanding. Huge thanks to Louisa, Jerry, Keith, and Sandy for their kindness and professionalism. Louisa went far beyond what we expected and came with us through Hong Kong to help buy a particular stroller at the last minute. We'll never forget that level of care. The hotel has true luxury, but its people are what made it extraordinary and made us feel at home. This was easily one of our best hotel stays. We'll happily return to Rosewood Hong Kong and highly recommend it to families and other travelers looking for a memorable stay.
