Ma Bo Villa

With a confirmed reservation, I arrived only to be told the room I’d booked couldn’t be provided because a door was broken. They then tried to send me to different accommodation about 20 minutes away by taxi, in another area. I’d chosen this location specifically, and didn’t feel comfortable going somewhere unfamiliar at night with my luggage, so I refused. The property told Booking.com that my reservation was still active and unchanged, yet still wouldn’t give me the room at the original location. I suspect it may have been overbooked, and found the broken door explanation doubtful. The information kept changing, replies became poor, and it was hard for Booking.com to help arrange somewhere else. It was stressful and unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need reliable accommodation.
