The location is really good, and at around 300 hkd a night I felt it was worth the price. I stayed four nights, mostly just coming back to sleep, and had no trouble. My stay was from 20th nov 2025 to 24th nov 2025. The place is as advertised, cheap and compact, and seems suited to solo travelers. I wouldn’t recommend it for girls/females. I’d choose a double room with windows. The room and washroom were clean, as were the towel and linen. There was handwash, body wash, and toilet paper, but that’s all the room service you get. There’s no common area, though guests can use an oven, fridge, and basic utensils. The caretaker, a Phillipines lady whose name I’ve forgotten, was nice.

It’s centrally located in Hong Kong, which is the one upside. This might work if you’ll spend most of your trip out exploring and only need somewhere to sleep and freshen up. The area felt unsafe, and the owner seemed shady, asking to photograph the passport of the person who booked. When it’s busy, the lift takes a long time and has little room, so people go up one at a time. There’s no shower stall; the shower head is in the same space as the toilet.

The staff were kind and very helpful, which was the one good thing about the hotel. I didn’t like the breakfast much. You can’t shower without the AC running, or you risk setting off the fire alarm, and there’s no way to open the window.

We paid online for 5 nights, but when we arrived they said there was no room for us. The owner then said we could stay if we paid an extra 600 hkd each night. It felt like an attempt to rip us off. The owner has three different guesthouses in the same building: NAGALAND guesthouse, KATHMANDU guesthouse and COSMOS HOTEL. Very bad experience. Don’t stay there.
