Woodstock Hostel

The rooms are very cramped and not spotless, but the location is good enough that I'd still recommend it. It's near MTR stations, local food and plenty of shops.

Getting around was easy, with the train station just across one street and bus stops nearby too. The staff were very friendly and even helped us with our lost baggage. The 24-hour front desk was convenient, and there was a free lobby microwave we used to heat food. Free hot and cold water was available, and the dispenser worked properly. The hot water really was hot and the cold water cold. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room included an adapter. Each time we returned, the room was clean, with fresh sheets and towels. They left our belongings alone. The hostel was quiet, and we saw no cockroaches or bed bugs. One warning about the room's water heater: don't turn the tap all the way to the right or the water gets boiling hot and steamy. We learned the hard way. The elevator can be crowded, but it's manageable if you're patient. The door handle was a bit rusty, and closing the door took a lot of force. It's really affordable, so I'd recommend the place.

I stayed for around 14 days. The room was nice and clean, and they cleaned it daily. The person running the place was very nice and helpful, and they provided free water. Great location.

The staff are really nice, especially Julian and Racman. It's convenient for getting around, and Harbor city is very close. There are lots of food choices nearby.
