We booked a 19m² room for 15 nights at World Wide Guesthouse, which had moved to Windsor Mansion on Chatham Road. The confirmation was for that room, but we were given a 10m² one with a broken toilet and charged the same price as for the larger room. When we asked for the room we'd paid for, staff said there was a bigger one, but it would cost almost twice what we'd booked and confirmed. We left afterward. There's no real standard, the place is far too tiny, and nobody seems to care about agreements. If you want to enjoy even part of your stay in HK, I'd suggest finding another "hotel". This isn't a way to run an international hotel.

The price was reasonable, and the simple breakfast was a nice touch. Being in the city center made things convenient, and it was run by a Korean. Still, accommodation in Hong Kong is somewhat inferior compared with Korea.

A great-value hostel right in the city center.
