AMU Dreamhouse - Hostel

I paid about 120 hkd for the stay. The room wasn't spacious, but it had a personal locker and toiletries. The location was good, and the manager was kind. Highly recommend it for a short stay or stopover.

The staff were amazing, and the location is prime. This is a budget-friendly place that felt like a total 5* stay, though I'd rate it 4.5 stars. It's on Chatham Road South, close to East Tsim Sha Shui station. You can get here by A21 bus from the airport or by MTR, and bus, MTR, and taxi are all easy to access. The entrance isn't easy to spot, but it's very near Ocean's Court Mansion. Use the stairs or the lift on the left. I had a twin room with one bed stacked above the other. There are different room types in the unit, which feels like a hostel and Airbnb combined, with every amenity provided. The rooms are very small, though there was enough space to move around. One thing to know is that the toilet doesn't have a water bidet. The staff lady was supportive and helpful, and she cleaned the rooms every day, so mine never felt too messy. I did see people leave their rooms in very bad condition. Towels were changed daily, and toiletries were complimentary. Apart from the building's appearance from outside, everything was great here. Definitely recommended.

The room was cleaned every day, and we had what we needed from the free water, microwave, face masks, and umbrellas. That green umbrella really helped with the blazing Hong Kong sun. We booked a garden-view triple room for me and my friend. It was enough for us, though I doubt three adults would fit. You can hear some traffic outside, but it didn't bother us. The location is great too, with Victoria Harbour and bus stops and MRT stations all an easy walk away. Good value for budget travelers. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend it and come back.

The owner was so kind and helpful. I left something behind after checking out and had already left the country, but he mailed it to me. The location is great, the AC works well, and the shower has strong water pressure. The rooms are small, though four of us slept comfortably in one, and there are common areas to hang out in. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.
