Zodiac Lodge

A disgrace. I booked through booking.com and arrived at the earliest check-in time, only to be told every room had been rented out. I had to find and book somewhere else at the last minute. Don't count on them if you need to be sure you'll have a place to stay.

The location is great, but the room was too small and unclean, and the sheets were dirty. We were meant to stay four nights. On the last night, we walked in and found cockroaches everywhere. We spoke to the manager, but he wasn't helpful. We left right away, and he said he wouldn't refund us for that final night.

The room was very cheap, and the online photos didn't match what I got. There was no hot water, and they offered no solution.

It's a small room, but clean, with accommodating staff. I was in HK to tour around and wanted to be sensible about spending instead of paying for an expensive hotel. The place is close to the markets and shopping malls, so I'd rather put the money toward shopping and exploring HK. It's an affordable, friendly place, and I recommend it. Mr safi especially was helpful with anything I needed.
