There are lots of pigeons living among the trees, and the park has dovecotes too. You can pick up cold water and other drinks at nearby shops. There are also benches for sitting in the heat, a playground for kids, and a workout area for athletes. People bring their dogs here as well.

There’s a small shop in the middle selling ice cream, chips, and soda. The park also has a jogging track, exercise machines, and a couple of basketball courts, so it has most of what you need. A couple of homeless people seem to spend time near the benches, but they keep to themselves.

In June there are organic mangoes everywhere. People in Barranquilla come here to relax with ice cream or bolis, spend time with family, or watch basketball in Suri Salceso park. Sitting in the warm breeze and watching a game feels priceless. Such a lovely way to enjoy life together!!!♥️♥️♥️😍😍🥳👏
