We spent December 29 to January 4 at Holiday Inn Express Barranquilla with our two kids, and the stay exceeded what we expected. The location made it easy to get to restaurants, shopping, and key parts of the city. Breakfast was fresh every morning with a good range of choices, which made traveling with kids easier. The hotel was spotless, modern, and comfortable, and our family room was spacious, quiet, and well equipped. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always glad to help, so we felt at home quickly. We felt safe and well cared for throughout the trip, and had a wonderful time in Barranquilla. We’d definitely stay again. Highly recommended for families who want comfort, good service, and an easy stay.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole stay felt easy and comfortable. I had a really good experience at Holiday Inn Express Barranquilla. The hotel and service were both great, definitely five stars from me. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Barranquilla.

The room was clean, though this felt more like a business hotel. We were told just 24 hours ahead that the rooftop pool would be closed for 15 days, and I couldn't cancel. That pool on the 18th floor was the main reason we booked, so we wouldn't have chosen this hotel otherwise. The front desk staff were kind of rude and unhelpful, and I often saw them gossiping in a corner. Getting there was awkward too, with the entrance under construction and the hotel squeezed between a highway and another major road. Buenavista is a 15-minute walk away.

The rooftop pool is a great spot to relax, with wide views over the river, and there's a generous breakfast buffet too. The hotel is in Buenavista's busy business and office district, and offers the dependable quality I've come to expect from Holiday Inn.

Breakfast was a happy start for my friends and family, thanks to a really welcoming restaurant team. They even put kind words in my omelette, which made my day. We also got helpful support with parking, and the information we were given was clear. The location works well, a short walk from the Malecón. Prices were reasonable, the staff were amazing, and we had an excellent stay. Highly recommended.
