The service was good, and the food was tasty. Everything here was great.

Waking up to the landscape at sunrise and seeing it again at sunset made the whole stay worthwhile. I had plenty of energy throughout all four days, and the traditional breakfast included was a lovely surprise. It’s a rustic place, like the other accommodations on the island, but comfortable. Water is limited, though what we got was enough, so it’s important to conserve. Luis and his wife were incredibly kind and attentive to every request. The atmosphere was wonderful and so peaceful. Thank you for giving us a safe, quiet place in such a special location.

The room and bathrooms were in terrible condition. There was no sink, no water provided, and barely any lighting. Cockroaches were in the rooms, and I was afraid one might fall from the ceiling. We felt like we needed to run away. Staff were extremely unfriendly, offered no solutions, and lied or made excuses about everything. There were hardly any food options, and the place claims to be behind a mangrove, but it seemed like they’d destroyed it themselves and didn’t care for the island. We booked three nights and four days for two people. They clearly said we’d get 15 to 20 liters of bottled drinking water, but on day three they gave us only 10 liters, and on the last day none at all. I had to buy drinking water at the island store. Breakfast was insulting and stingy, they even gave us just one egg and wanted to serve it whenever they felt like it. On our last day they didn’t serve breakfast until 10 a.m., so we refused it. They seemed more desperate than we were. This was a horrible experience. Don’t go, it’ll ruin your vacation.

I can’t recommend this place. The beds were dirty and smelled bad, and the rooms had no ceilings. There was no drinking water or way to wash our hands, just a showerhead. Bugs can get inside easily. While I was showering, I found a frog in the bucket of water and had to call the attendant to get it out. The electricity also had problems because they use solar panels. Ms. Victoria wouldn’t address our complaints. I hope no one else has the same experience.
