The guy at reception was nice, and the hotel felt safe. The room and bed area had insects, though, and the place didn't look clean at all.

The only downside people mention is that it’s in a rough part of Barranquilla, though that wasn’t a problem for me. My room was freshened up every day and the service was better than decent. I liked staying here, and it worked perfectly for me as a backpacker. I’d come back. Viva Barranquilla.

The bathroom roof was leaking, ceiling tiles were missing, and the AC barely worked. My room also had no toilet seat. When I complained, someone brought one over and screwed it on, but I wouldn’t stay here.

The rooms are really small, though it’s fine for a night.

For the price, it’s a cool, inexpensive hotel.
