Hotel Yivinaca

Be careful, this looks suspicious. We booked a room through booking.com, but then they asked us to transfer money in advance, even though the conditions on booking say payment should be by credit card at checkout. They said they’d cancel the booking otherwise. That made no sense to us since they already had our card details and could charge us if we didn’t show up. Now they aren’t cancelling the stay right away and say it will take some time. Completely unacceptable service.

This was the worst hotel customer service I’ve had. I left a T-shirt there during an earlier stay, then asked them to look for it when I came back. I checked twice every day, and each time they said they couldn’t find it and would check the next day. On checkout day, as I had to leave the city, I asked again and got the same answer: they couldn’t find it, they’d look tomorrow. Shame on you. They don’t do anything.

The room was poor quality, with no windows, a bad smell, an awful bed, and a noisy door. You can find somewhere better for the same price.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious for a good price. I really missed having hot water in the shower, though.
