I stayed about a month using credit card “reward” points, LOL. The mall is a manageable Uber ride away, and the local bodegas are affordable. It's right off a highway and kind of near the airport. New condos seem to be bringing gentrification to the area. Still, there are no frills: thin walls, a lousy shower, a questionable neighborhood, and a long way from downtown. I was the only non-local.

We were only there during a long layover, but I'd stay again. It was convenient and reasonably priced. The area felt a little sketchy, though our taxi dropped us right at the entrance and the front desk opened up straight away and checked us in. When it was time to leave, they called an Uber and helped load our bags. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the service was excellent.

There wasn't anywhere nearby to eat, and the location was awful. Inside, the walls and bathroom were dirty, the sheets were old and torn, and the toilet had no seat. You can even feel the building shake when trucks go by. The pictures on Booking.com and online look fake and retouched. One of the worst hotels I've seen, and I'm never coming back.
