Cabrera 85 Apartments

My family and I spent a month at Cabrera 85 apts, and I wouldn't stay there again. Management with JALO was good, but the building and rooms were uncomfortable. I never felt safe, especially because the security guards seemed unprofessional and befriended people from the street who came in behind the front desk. It was extremely loud whichever unit we were in, and music from nearby clubs went on until 3am, so I slept terribly. There were also a couple of nighttime disturbances involving neighbors engaged in illegal activities. I was counting the days until the lease ended.

I booked three nights but got in the next morning because my flight was delayed. When I tried to check in, they said I had to wait until 3 pm, that my reservation was invalid and could change, and they wanted much more money than I'd originally booked for. I tried to book another apartment, but then had more problems with check-in, payment and getting in touch. They wouldn't even let me leave my luggage until check-in. I was left waiting for hours with no reply, and they still want to charge me for cancelling.

The place was beautiful, the location was excellent for travelers, and the price was incredible. Everything else was great too. One morning the front desk called early and woke me up, and the check-in process could DEFINITELY be streamlined. Apart from those small things, it was perfect.

The staff were really friendly, and I enjoyed my time at this apartment. It's in the best area in bogota, close to restaurants and bars, and it's a really great place.
