Maria was so welcoming, and the morning coffee she brought out was hot and tasty. I loved sitting in her lovely garden among the herbs, tropical trees, and flowers while having breakfast. It's a traditional Usaquen casa, with three women living there, and I felt very safe. I was traveling alone, and even walking at night felt safe, though I'm writing this from my husband's account. There are parks all around, and I could walk to historical Usaquen, cafes, supermarkets, and other points of interest. For an extra fee, Maria can cook for you, and laundry is available too, which is handy on a longer trip. The Wifi was very good, and the showers were hot, which is rare in Bogota. Just bring cash, since they don't accept cards.
