The people are what make this place special. Daisy was always ready to help and accommodate requests or questions, and the overnight check-in agent handled late arrivals efficiently. I got in at 4am and was checked in with my room within two minutes. It's right in the heart of Chapinero, with free breakfast and a beautiful rooftop bar. The hotel isn't fancy, but you get more than you pay for. 5/5.

The room was much smaller than I expected, and customer service was subpar. It's noisy, though I figure that's common around this area. Also, don't lose your key, they seem to have only one 😂. I lost my key card on the last day and had to pay $10 for a replacement. The central location is a plus. It wasn't a horrible stay, but I don't think I'd return.

Traffic noise from the busy intersection on the corner was the only real drawback for me, so if you need total silence, this probably isn't the place. I could tune it out, though, and for an overnight transit stay it worked perfectly. It's cheap, looks nice, and my clean, tidy fifth-floor room was much like the photos. There was hot water, and the polite staff spoke English, so I had no issues. Breakfast was included in the rate. The top-floor dining room looked impeccable, with live plants on every table and a really nice city view.

If you need an affordable place near public transit for getting to historic sites and clubs, this hotel is excellent. The front desk staff were welcoming, polite, and respectful. But when I arrived, I found out breakfast wasn't included, even though that's what I saw when booking. Over a 10-day budget stay, that would have helped. They also didn't provide toilet paper, and the cleaning lady was pretty rude.
