The owners and staff were so kind and welcoming, and the beds were comfortable. There are privacy curtains and plug sockets by the beds, plus warm water in the showers. The hostel has lots of character and is beautiful, with a log fire to keep you warm. The food and drinks are very nice, especially the natural lemonade. We stayed last week and loved it. There’s lots to see nearby, and plenty of other places to get food and drinks in the area.

It was tricky to find in the rain because I didn’t realize you had to cross a gate to reach the hostel. Once I found it, though, I loved it: comfortable bed, hot shower, good wifi, great staff and a great bar. The only small annoyance was that the sensor lights switched on with the slightest movement in the room. Give it a try. The 1 star reviews are from fancy pants who usually stay in expensive hotels 😉

Right in the heart of the city, the location is great, and the place feels relaxing and secure. The staff are kind and ready to help, and you don’t have to worry about dealing with disgusting or annoying people. They let you smoke weed there, so you can head wherever you want once you’re high. Weed, relaxing, beer, and a nice atmosphere make a perfect combination!

The place is dirty, the workers are really unfriendly, and it’s not worth the money. Don’t stay here unless you want bedbugs traveling along with you.

The blankets are tiny and too short, the beds are awful, the kitchen is the worst, and the place is small and dirty. They charge extra for no reason. I switched to Trip Monkey just around the corner for 3 dollars more. It was super clean, had space and privacy, and I could actually use the kitchen. You can find much better hostels on the Hostel World app for 2 or 3 dollars more. Try to avoid this place!
