A great place for backpackers on a low budget. The private double room costs at least 30.000 COP, basic but perfectly fine. The kitchen is great and well equipped, and the staff will help with any questions. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the tourist highlights and lots of great restaurants and bars.
I felt at home here. The guy who works there is such a nice person. He showed us where to find the cheapest food and restaurants, and actually went with us to point them out. He gave us a really good smoothie in the morning, and you can print a flight ticket there if you need to. When we left, the owner’s son carried our bag to the taxi. I asked him to stop, but he just told me, “trancilo=relax.” So nice. This was the best hostel I stayed at during my three months of traveling, and a really good place to sleep in bogota.
The staff were really friendly, and the balcony had a lovely view.
The service was spectacular! 🥳 It's now a restaurant and bar, and I especially recommend the appetizers if Doña Gloria is the one making them.
Cheap, but somehow still expensive. Worst hostel in Bogotá.
