At Indian Palace in Bogotá, the curries are full of flavor, the naan comes out soft and fresh, and the spices are nicely balanced. Portions are generous too, with polite service. The warm, quietly elegant room and classic décor make it feel like a special meal, while still being a relaxed place to enjoy comforting Indian food.

I've been twice and tried four dishes, and everything was delicious and made fresh. Some staff speak English, and you can get the spicy sauce on the side, which helps when people in your group prefer different heat levels. The place has a nice atmosphere and sits across from a park in a pleasant neighborhood. It's not in the nightlife district, but it's not far from the trendy areas and well worth the trip for good Indian food in Bogotá.

The food is delicious, and I liked that I could choose the spice level since I was a little worried about how hot it might be. The service is amazing too. It's somewhat expensive, but worth it to me. I love the atmosphere here, the good energy, and how carefully everything is arranged.
