The good parts were the friendly, attentive staff and a breakfast with a decent range of choices. The rest needs work. The hotel feels dated and overdue for renovation, and I could hear the street, neighboring rooms, and hallway clearly because the rooms aren’t soundproof. The mini-fridge made a constant loud motor-like noise, and the cleaning fell below what I expect from a Radisson. With these noise and maintenance problems, I’ll think twice before booking another Radisson.
The location is a big plus, with restaurants, malls, and supermarkets close by. We’ve stayed here before, and returned for eight nights this time, booking a suite. The staff made us feel welcome throughout: check-in was quick, we got the suite at 1:00 pm instead of the stated 3:00 pm, and the reception and lobby teams were helpful and professional. They also promptly corrected the room setup when it was initially prepared for one despite our booking for two. Breakfast was included and one of the best parts of the stay. The choices were broad and changed regularly, and the staff kept up with the busy breakfast rush. The suite itself was spacious and comfortable, with blackout curtains in both the bedroom and living room and cozy bedding. We didn’t have trouble with noise, though the room wasn’t fully soundproof. A few details could use attention. The bedside lamps and kitchenette faucet were loose, and the kitchenette had no plates, cutlery, or utensils. We weren’t going to cook, so it didn’t cause a problem, but it would help to say whether those items can be requested. The gym also looks tired and could use a refresh. Since our previous visit in 2022, not much seems to have changed, and the hotel is showing its age overall. We had a pleasant stay and would come back. The friendly, helpful staff stood out, even though the hotel could use a full refurbishment and better attention to details.
The rooms were spacious and really clean, and from the 11th floor we had great views. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, the security was good, and the staff were nice. Excellent hotel.
We had a happy, friendly stay. The food and service were generally very good, though there were a few little things here and there that could be improved.
The bar was a highlight, with a stunning city view and good cocktails, even though it was very empty. Our king suite was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had an excellent, decent-sized range of choices. It’s a good hotel in central Bogotá. I did miss having a kettle in the room, a small thing that should be easy to fix.
