Spotty Hotels

The staff keep me coming back. I’ve stayed here 5 or 6 times over the two years I’ve been visiting Colombia, often for many days, and the team hasn’t changed. They treat me like family, and I mean that. At this point they’re my friends. The hotel is very affordable and clean, with security that makes me feel safe coming and going. The guards get up to greet you with a big smile every time, even late at night after dancing or whatever else Bogata has to offer. The front desk is amazing and caters to you like nowhere else. They speak most languages, which is a huge plus in Colombia, and will do what they can to help. When my fiance and I went to Medellin for 5 days for New Year's, we had too much stuff with us and didn’t want to carry everything we’d bought on market street, just a block away, or pay to check extra bags. I asked the front desk if there was a solution. Leaving things behind isn’t something people do in Colombia, but the desk attendant came up with another idea. He found a box, and we packed and taped it together before putting it in storage. Everything was there when I came back. I trusted them, and they came through, like they always do. There’s a pool on the 17th floor, with a restaurant and game room on the same floor. The game room has a pool table, PS2, Classic Street Fighter Arcade game, Bowlarama, and table top tennis. There’s also a bar on the 5th floor, a gym on the 4th, and a parking garage with 24 hour security. I usually stay on the 20th floor for around $50 or $60 a night. Back in the states, a hotel costs at least about $150. From up there, looking at the mountains or the city is breathtaking day and night. There are outdoor grills on one of the 3 or 4 patios too. I could go on and on. If you’re in Bogata, do yourself a favor and stay here. I wouldn’t write such a long review if I didn’t mean it. Qi Chimba! I truly love The Spotty Hotels!!!! ❤️ 💯 🇨🇴
