I ended up leaving early and booking another hotel, even though I'd already paid for this one. The apartment was in such bad shape that I couldn't stay. The first apartment I booked had broken air conditioning and couldn't be used. Since I arrived at 2 a.m. with no real alternative, I had to take a replacement. That one was dirty, with stains on the floor and bed linen, and the towels weren't clean either. The refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it. The hot tub advertised in the listing headline was filthy and didn't work. It also looked deliberately tampered with: the hot water tap had been removed, so only cold water came out. The pool doesn't heat either, which is misleading advertising. The warm water was unreliable, sometimes disappearing completely, and it could turn cold then boiling hot 15 seconds later. Walls were peeling, there was significant mould, and the furniture was damaged and dirty, including disgusting white stains on the fridge. It looked like nothing had been maintained or cleaned for years. The old “Cali 2022-2023” event calendar on the coffee table seemed to sum up the state of the place. The safe didn't work. The receptionist tried several times to fix it, so I spent around 1.5h waiting in the apartment, but it still wasn't working. I didn't feel safe leaving valuables there, so I carried them around the streets of Colombia instead. The accommodation is in a deplorable state, with many things broken, dirty, or unusable. The owners are unreachable, so problems can't be resolved on-site.
