Casa Claver Loft Boutique Hotel

The property is very clean, and the breakfast options were decent. Benjamin was our favorite at the front desk: always welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. He did what he could when we had to change rooms after the A/C unit broke. First, its remote stopped working, then the unit itself failed. The new room meant going from a King bed to a double, which was very uncomfortable, and it had a broken iron and no nice dining area. The night-shift receptionist never introduced himself. We greeted him each time but he didn't greet us back, and he seemed like he didn't enjoy his job. It was still a nice place to stay, and I can recommend it.

Inside, you can take in the rooftop pools, the sit up area, and the luxurious loft apartments. From the outside the hotel looks inconspicuous, like many lovely places in Cartagena. It's right in the middle of the walled city, with cathedrals, plazas, restaurants, malls, cafes, and shops all within walking distance. Service was top notch. Since we stayed in a loft, they brought breakfast right to our dining table, and we also got a room upgrade that we enjoyed every bit of. Fabulous hotel in an awesome location.

We look forward to returning to Cartagena every year to spend time with family and friends. Casa claver has a great location and brings together luxury and authentic experiences. The hotel's culture and peaceful feel show in every wall and corner. Catalina and her team took such good care of us and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed the city's magic. They truly care about your experience. Best service ever! Highly recommended if you want a genuine Cartagena experience.

The two-bedroom loft was much bigger in person than we'd expected, and so well appointed we could have stayed for weeks. The property is beautiful, with a lovely rooftop terrace and a great view. The pool is small, but our kids loved it. Staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful even before we arrived. The location is perfect for walking to almost everything, and inexpensive Ubers come quickly too. Although it's an older open-air building, the AC kept the rooms comfortable as long as we remembered to close the doors. They brought our breakfast choices straight to the room, which everyone enjoyed. We loved our stay at Casa Claver, didn't want to leave, and would definitely return if we're back in Cartagena.
