The pool staff upstairs were kind and helpful, and the check-in reception team worked hard and were very friendly. The building is one of the most beautiful in the area, and visiting was an amazing experience. The gym could use newer equipment and more machines. Trash pickup on the second floor needs to improve. For four days in a row the bags weren’t collected, and animals were gathering around them. There were also sometimes loud groups upstairs, which made it uncomfortable for guests trying to relax. They would get noisy and sometimes smoke and drink. I think staff told them not to smoke or drink, but loud groups should be asked to consider the other guests.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with spectacular city views. The rooftop swimming pools were awesome and had a breathtaking view. It’s a very nice building in a very safe area.

Please read this. We checked out today after four nights. This is a beautiful place, and we really enjoyed the apartment. But on our second morning there was a fatal shooting right in front of the location. The gunshot woke me up, and when I looked outside after the shock, I saw a dead person on the ground, bleeding from the gunshot. I was on edge for the rest of the stay, with constant flashbacks to what we’d seen. I want to be transparent about that, and I also noticed that some of these reviews are from people who work there. Outside, there are always “cab drivers” whom we didn’t feel we could trust. We used Uber everywhere.
