This little hotel is in a really convenient spot, right beside the walled city. The tricky part is finding the entrance: it’s one plain white door, marked only by the street number 963 above it. I added a photo. It’s the unmarked white door to the right of the orange and yellow restaurant!

Make sure you get confirmation of the room you booked. We reserved a double but were put in an unfinished prefab room on the roof, with single glazing and no soundproofing. We left the hotel and were still charged for one night. Be careful.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and there’s even a shower you can use after checkout for an extra fee if you have a later trip. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and looked just like the photos. We stayed four nights and found the location really handy for everything in Cartagena, including Getsemaní, the clock tower, and the pier for island tours. A supermarket and taxis are right next door too. We’d happily stay again.

We could walk to everything from this spot inside the walled city, and the main tourist sights are close by. There’s also a night store next door. Our room was roomy, clean, and nicely kept, with a rustic look and a comfortable bed.
