Breakfast was delicious every morning, with plenty to eat, and the lobby was lovely. The employees were all very nice; a few spoke English, and they were able to understand what you needed. The location is close to one of the many squares, with KGB bar just down the street and a nice bar right across from the place. I'd stay here again on my next trip.

The room could use a little upkeep. It hadn't been painted, and without outside windows it felt a bit like a basement. The inside garden was lovely for breakfast, the bathroom was quite decent, and all the staff were very nice. Great location!

The included breakfast was excellent, and the air conditioning in every room runs without time limits, which you really need in Cartagena's hot, humid weather. Our room also had a hammock, just right for an afternoon nap out of the heat. It's a great choice if you want to be in the middle of the historical centre. It isn't the cheapest accommodation in Cartagena, but it's within most budgets and well worth it.

The breakfast is excellent and the service couldn't be better. The place is very quiet, which makes it good for resting, though breakfast is served in the common yard close to the rooms, so sleeping late can be tough. The room was very good, with air conditioning and a very clean bathroom, and the price felt fair for the place.

It's a lovely old house with only a few rooms, and the people looking after it are so caring. I loved the "anis arepas". The simplicity felt lovely because you could feel the affection of the people serving you.
