Hotel Center Plaza Plus

Hotel Center Plaza Plus is a good choice if you want a restful stay.

The place is affordable, quiet, and near the airport. My single-bed room felt a bit small, though at that price it seemed okay. I didn’t care for the towel smell or the cigarette odor coming from the air conditioning. There’s no restaurant at the hotel, and I thought the $4,500 delivery charge from nearby restaurants to the room was expensive.

It felt neglected and run down. My reservation said breakfast was included, but on arrival they said they had no such reservation. I stayed because it was late, and they told me I’d booked only the room. They didn’t even offer water. The sheets smelled bad, the bathroom door had no lock, the shower was cold and barely had any pressure, and there was no soap or shampoo. The hotel is also near the market, so it’s very noisy.

Service was good, and pets are allowed for an extra 10,000 pesos. We had a triple room, with simple, non-luxury furnishings. The beds were comfortable, but the air conditioning was poor. The sink was loose and badly installed, and its faucets were plastic. Parking costs extra: 3,000 pesos for 10 hours. The lot is managed by Cenabastos, and the hotel says it has no agreement with them.
