The rooms are spacious and nice, but the area is terrible. There aren’t any restaurants, food courts, or malls nearby, just the odd pharmacy and lots of motorcycle and car repair shops. Air conditioning costs an extra 20,000 pesos. My bed was too hard, the pillows were terribly uncomfortable, and I couldn’t rest. We had to ask for a blanket because there was only a sheet. The Wi-Fi was slow and kept cutting out. It felt a bit expensive for what they offer.

I spent two nights at Manos Hotel before continuing my trip, and the receptionists made the stay phenomenal. They were excellent, always ready to help and point me in the right direction. My room was spotless. The bed felt a little too hard to me, but that’s just my preference. The service was excellent, and I recommend it to women traveling alone.

They started waking me at 5 a.m. with chores and hallway conversations, so this was no place to rest. The room had no ventilation, and the mattresses were rock hard. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it.
