Hh Hacienda El Carmen Centro De Convenciones

The pool looks good in the photos, but the water is cold. The bathrooms are really old, and the changing rooms flood and don't have doors. A lot of the place needs maintenance and renovation.

This hotel is awful, old, and advertised in a misleading way. They charge for a cold-water pool, but don't make that clear when it comes time to pay. I felt they were taking advantage of people by charging for both a cold-water pool and a cold-water tank without giving proper information. Really bad. I'm going to report the hotel for misleading advertising.

The staff were very friendly, and there are a tennis court and a swimming pool. I liked some of the antique pieces, though broken chairs made the place look shabby. There's a difference between a vintage style and things that seem worn out. The natural setting is beautiful, but it feels like little has been invested in the place for a long time. The rooms and bathrooms are old, the beds creak, and the mattresses are hard. Breakfast is good, but the menu doesn't change from day to day.

For the price and the brand name, I expected better than this very mediocre service. The shower water was awful, swinging from scalding hot to completely cold, then heating up again. There are no grab bars in the shower. The toilet didn't flush properly, and the floor drain cover was broken. The electrical outlets in the room also didn't work right. There are no access ramps for people with reduced mobility, and no buttons or anyone available to help.
