The bus terminal is really close, which is a big plus. The staff and even the owner were so warm and welcoming, and the rooms have hot water. They also do laundry. Comfort, service, and prices were all very good. Highly recommend it.

The way they handled this was awful. My brother-in-law got sick, so we had to come to Duitama. We called ahead and said we were staying, and asked them not to remove the suitcases from the room. When we got there, they seemed to know nothing about him. We couldn't find a room at the other hotels we checked, so we returned to Hotel Castell. Only then did we get an explanation: his suitcases had been left out in the hallway. Such poor service.

For $35,000 COP per person per night, this is one of Duitama's more affordable comfortable hotels. The rooms are roomy, and the staff are very attentive. There's an outdoor parking lot, and it's right on the main road to Sogamoso.

The place is much roomier inside than it appears from outside, and the rooms are really comfortable. It's clean and very affordable too. Congratulations on the service, highly recommended.

Hotels in Duitama struck me as pricey compared with other cities. This one gave us the best rate, though I still thought it was a little high. It's not a bad hotel if your budget isn't tight, and I'd recommend it.
