The rooms are spacious, with stunning views, and the hotel is beautiful and well kept. The staff were attentive and showed a high level of hospitality. I was completely satisfied.

I enjoyed the jacuzzi overlooking the water and the views of the lovely man-made lake. The hotel makes a great getaway. The staff were very attentive and ready to take care of whatever you need. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal, cheese, arepa, juice, and coffee. They’ll prepare your eggs however you like.

The staff are incredible and go well beyond what you’d expect. I’d booked the wrong dates and only realized when I asked about arranging transport. Even with the hotel nearly full, management sorted it out and saved our stay in Gautape. The little hotel sits in a lovely garden above the lake, and just sitting there taking in the view is good for the soul. Try the hot tub too, the lake view is fantastic. Guatape is a 20-minute taxi ride away, costing 50.000 COP, or you can take a somewhat longer boat ride for more than four times the price. Viajero Hostel next door has good lunch and water sports options, and kayaks can be rented at Jordan. We’d love to come back.

The open-air jacuzzi right by the lake was a particular highlight, and the lake views are wonderful. Rooms were modern, very clean, and had great beds. The staff and owners were extremely nice and helpful to everyone in our group. It’s only 15 minutes from downtown, and we’d definitely stay here again.
