Omghat

The food wasn't very good, and after seeing the state of the reception area and the lack of cleanliness, we didn't feel like eating there. There was even a dead rat by the reception door. The first room was unbearable, so we asked to move. Even the replacement, which they said was ready, had a filthy floor, stained sheets and towels, and a terrible smell in the room and linens. We stayed two nights, but the jacuzzi we wanted to use wasn't opened until 24 hours after we arrived. They kept telling us there were problems with the water pump, then the heater, and so on.

The person who helped us was very polite and attentive, and that was the one saving grace. The Glampin we were assigned had dirty, stained bathrooms, a damp-smelling room, mildewed walls, dirty glasses left from other bookings, and stained bedding. We formally asked to change rooms, but were told that wasn't possible because they were full. No other solution was offered, so we left and waited for our cash refund. They were supposed to have checked the reservation deposit before booking, but almost didn't return the money until we kept insisting. There's no parking. You have to go down a grassy, dirt slope to reach the Glampin, and the floor was wet. We travel a lot, and I don't recommend this place. The price felt high for these conditions. We had to go out and find something to do ourselves because they never resolved anything. It felt like their only concern was the money.

An easy place to get to, with a wonderful view. It's beautiful and comfortable, and the service and attention were excellent. Highly recommend.

The facilities are in good shape, and the restaurant food is delicious. It's a welcoming place, and the staff are very attentive!
