Soy Local Guatapé

The scenery around the location is beautiful, though getting there is a little difficult. I enjoyed the food, but breakfast is the only included meal and could be better. My bed was OK, but the room disappointed me since it didn't even have a TV or other appliances. Some employees could also improve their customer service.

Finding the way there is a bit confusing, but it's a real gem, surrounded by nature. We ate well for the prices, and being able to bring pets was a big plus for me. The rooms are comfortable, though there's no TV or fridge, which I see as a drawback. The person at the front desk said they're redesigning the place and adding TVs. I'd still come back sometime.

The people were really nice, but the hotel itself just wasn't good enough for the price. We booked a room with a jacuzzi, and it was dirty. We tried cleaning it ourselves and it was still dirty. There was a dead bird on the trail on the way to the room, too. The room did have a nice view, but the doors had issues and the shower's hot water kept cutting off every two minutes. The restaurant was bad as well. A huge disappointment.

The one issue was that we had no hot water on the last night or the final morning. Apart from that, Soy Local Guatape was very nice and clean, our room was clean, and the service was great. Breakfast came with the stay and was a simple American/Mexican style.
