The shower door lets water leak onto the vanity floor, which can be dangerous. Aside from that, our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff, especially Mr Emanuel and Mr Freddy, were attentive and very polite. The location made it easy to get to shopping centers, restaurants, cultural centers, and more. We felt right at home and will stay here again when we return to Medellin. I recommend it 100%.

I can’t figure out why this place has only 3 stars. I stayed five nights in late July for $65 per night, and the room was cleaned every day, swept and mopped even under the bed. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were great. My spacious, air conditioned room had a king bed, sofa, servi-bar with drinks and snacks, a large closet with a safe, and a clean bathroom with a roomy shower and excellent water pressure. There was a large flatscreen TV with cable, a good-sized desk and workspace, and included WI-FI. Room service was available until 8 PM, with menu items from $3 to $10 USD, including appetizers, a chicken salad, sandwiches, and pasta.

Be careful with the charges. The room rate was higher than the quote I was given, and the morning front desk staff spoke no English. When I brought my wife for breakfast, they said it would cost 14000.00 pesos but charged 1400000. Pesos. After 1:2 hour of arguing, she finally refunded the money. My wife then chose to pay, and the amount was 22000,00, not 140000.00 pesos. She didn’t have a clue.

I managed only 4-5 hours of sleep. I’d requested a quiet room, but they put me in a very noisy one and wouldn’t let me move. Its floor-to-ceiling wall of single-pane glass faced the freeway. This review is just about my experience. The hotel might be fine if you get a quiet room.
